Privacy — development preview
Saystep Korean is a development preview operated by Jun Murata. A Korean production analysis service and account environment have not been launched.
Your recordings
Recording and playback can take place on your device. When you explicitly request AI feedback and accept the analysis notice, audio and practice text are sent to the analysis endpoint configured for this build. Its speech provider is Microsoft Azure Speech; its wording coach uses the configured language-model endpoint. Do not send personal or sensitive information to an endpoint you do not trust.
Your account
Sign-in is handled by Supabase (United States) on a project that Saystep Korean shares with Saystep Spanish. One email address is one account across both apps. Your recordings, transcripts and feedback are kept by the Saystep Korean analysis service only (Microsoft Azure, United States) and are not visible from Saystep Spanish. Deleting your account in either app deletes that email address’s sign-in and its server data in both apps.
Before a public launch
The retention period and this notice must be confirmed before collecting real users’ data at scale.
